About Total Packets

TotalPackets began as a passion project from Rita Younger and her daughter Kori Younger.   Rita has worked in technology for the past 28 years and is an industry recognized expert in SDN and Network Analytics.  Kori was a pre-med student and once she attended HP Discover, VMworld and CiscoLive she was hooked and changed her major to IT and has worked as a CDW intern for 18 months. This Mother / Daughter duo wants to not only educate but also to entertain and show others, particularly women that technology is interesting but also fun.

Rita Younger is the National Practice Lead for SDN and Network Analytics at WWT. She holds multiple industry certification including those related to Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, and HP NFV. Rita is responsible for leading WWT both from a presales and delivery perspective into the major network transition of Software Defined Data Center and Network Analytics. Prior to being named the National Practice Lead, Rita spent 5 years as a Network Solution Architect for CDW focused on Data Center. Before joining WWT, Rita traveled globally with Cisco Advanced Services providing data center training internally for Cisco engineers. Rita was named in 2017 by CRN Magazine as one of the top Women in IT, she is a Cisco Champion and is a member of the  VMware Inner-Circle.   Rita is a featured speaker at National and International Industry events.   Rita has appeared as a delegate on Tech Field Days and has been featured on Techwise TV, TechVision and TechVue.   She is passionate about women in IT and is the founder of TotalPackets Webcast.  You can follow her on twitter @SDN_Girl.   Rita holds a B.S. in Communications from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois

Kori Younger is an industry analyst and cybersecurity researcher. She studies Business, Information Systems and Cybersecurity and the University of Missouri. Upon switching her pre-med major to IT Kori began a CDW internship where she gained valuable insight into the pre-sales process. Kori has had the opportunity to present at conferences like Commvault Go, and Actual Tech Medias Next Gen Security EcoCast.  Kori finds inspiration behind educating and presenting, because she knows it will motivate someone who believed they do not have a voice in the IT industry. Kori has traveled globally and is known for seizing every opportunity.  She recently convinced the guards at the Golden Nymph awards in Monaco that she was a US celebrity and walked the red carpet.  She even appeared on a producers webpage.  Kori is 24 and has never met a stranger.  When Kori is not out sailing she can be found working on DevOps projects. Look for us at your next IT conference, maybe you will be featured in Shenanigans or TPW After Dark!
